Shopping is a popular occupation in the United States. In fact, for certain sections of the
population, such as young adults, it’s practically a sport! While you attend Nomen Global Language Center
in Provo, Utah, you will have plenty of time to hunt down good deals in the
evening and on the weekends.

place to be! There are hundreds of

of the best shopping venues in the area.
Hold on to your credit cards . . . here we go!
University Mall.
Located on State Street in Orem, right on the bus line,
University Mall is more than just a shopping center, it’s a lifestyle center
built for the whole community. They feature
the latest fashions, must-have gadgets and gifts, the most gorgeous beauty
products, the most elegant and useful in home décor, and the most delicious,
reasonably-priced food around. There are
over 180 shops and restaurants, all in one place! They are open Monday through Saturday, from
10AM to 9PM, and closed on Sunday.
Provo Towne Centre.
Right in the heart of downtown Provo, Provo Towne Centre
features dozens of stores for ladies fashion, men’s clothing, shoes,
electronics, books, and appliances. It
is on the bus line, and is open all week, including Sundays. It’s right on Town Centre Boulevard, and
close to the Provo Central Station, where you can catch the train to Salt Lake
City just about any time you want.
Deseret Industries.
Unique to the Inter-Mountain West, especially Utah and
Idaho, Deseret Industries offers gently used items such as clothing, shoes,
appliances, bicycles, electronics, books, and an exuberant mixture of odds and
ends – much like an outdoor bazaar or flea market. Prices are always low, and the selection is
extremely eclectic. Many young people
provide themselves with a complete and very stylish wardrobe from shopping just
at DI. Recent bargains that we have
personally seen there include a brass trombone for $25.00; a New York Yankees
baseball cap in prime condition for $1.25, and a sofa bed for $32.00. There are several Deseret Industry stores in
the Provo/Orem area. They are open
Monday through Saturday, from 9AM to 8PM, and closed on Sunday. All sales are final.
