Nomen Global Language Centers Start Date Calendar

Please Click on the image to see a larger size of the Calendar.

Nomen Global is unique as a English as a second language school because of this schedule. Students are able to start every 2 weeks instead of waiting until the beginning of a new semester. This enables students with much flexibility in travel arrangements, and getting started as soon as possible. Students who have attended Nomen Global have really enjoyed this schedule because of the convenience it was for them, they also felt like they saved much time in their education because they did not have to wait for the end of a semester.

The Best Disney Land Trip

Nomen Global Language Centers took students on a unforgettable trip to Disney Land in Los Angeles. The group left from Nomen Global on a Thursday, got to their hotel late that night. They spent Friday at California adventure, and Saturday at Disney Land!

Some highlights were the California Screamin Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, the World of Colors water show, and of course our favorite, Duffy the Bear. Some of the ESL students, enjoyed getting wet on the rafting ride and laughing their heads off (especially Ricardo and Eduardo) because they got soaked every time. Another favorite memory of the students and staff that went was dancing by the Tron exhibit.

They saw all the classics including: Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and went on all the famous rides like Splash Mountain, the Haunted Mansion, the Jungle Cruise, and much more!

The group drove home quickly on Sunday, but were able to take a quick stop in Las Vegas! Everyone had such a great time and many memories and inside jokes were made!
In the night, we enjoyed the fireworks and a show.

The Activities director, Spencer said "I just want to thank everyone for coming, being awesome, and providing us all with great memories!!"

The activity students participated in during the hike was called a "leaf scavenger hunt." Students collected many different types of leaves from the trees and various plants on the hike, looking for unique colors, sizes and shapes.

Students not only got to enjoy the beautiful Fall weather and scenery, they were able to stretch their vocabulary and learn new words while conversing with other students and teachers who attended the fun activity!

Nomen Global Mens Soccer Team

It was a night of firsts! Nomen Global teacher, Kristy, hosted a great student activity this weekend, thanks to Kristy and her family! Students met together at a farm south of Provo to go horseback riding. Many students had never ridden a horse before, so it was a fun, sometimes scary, yet exciting experience!

Another new experience was s'mores! Many students got to taste this American bon fire delicacy, and the consensus was unanimous: they were delicious!

Students had fun on hay rides, eating sloppy joes and chips for dinner, jumping on the trampoline, and socializing with each other. It was a gorgeous night full of fun!
